The entertainment chain offers karaoke nights in the Back Bay on Friday and Saturday at 9pm, as well as at their locations in Burlington (Thursday and Friday at 8pm), Dedham (Friday at 9pm) and Lynnfield (Thursday and Friday at 8pm).

This sister venue to Harvard Square’s Hong Kong restaurant, which opened in 1954, is less of a restaurant and more of a bar and club, boasting brightly colored Scorpion Bowls to get you in the mood for its lively, nightly karaoke sessions. Grab a few friends, down some shooters and get ready to grab the mic every Tuesday from 8pm-2am, Wednesday through Friday from 6pm-2am, and Saturday and Sunday from 5pm - 2am.

If you’re looking for a private, friends-only karaoke outing, this slick Allston spot is the pick. With a main stage for the showoff types, it also offers private rooms including small, 10-person studios, large studios for up to 18 people, as well as a VIP room that accommodates 30. While the main stage is open to all, you’ll need to call ahead and make a reservation for a private studio.

This futuristic complex is filled with snazzy LED lighting and features an expansive main stage with bar, in addition to a selection of reservable private rooms that can accommodate parties ranging from nine to 20 people. Looking to belt out your favorite tune, but it's not in English? No problem: Viva's catalog includes songs in eight different languages.
