1. The atmospheric studio in Montmartre
Tucked away down a leafy, cobbled sidestreet in Montmarte, this quiet little studio takes the area’s beatnik roots very seriously. The place is a bohemian paradise lovingly filled by the host with antiques found in Parisian auction rooms and flea markets. The bedroom door opens out onto a flower-strewn courtyard where you can sip a morning espresso before exploring one of the city’s most famous neighbourhoods. There’s no cooking in the studio, but Charlotte the host can provide breakfast in the morning on request.
